Like most great cultures, the British pride themselves on their love of beer.

This week, the glory of barley and hops is on full display at the Great British Beer Festival 2010. The event, taking place in Earls Court London, is expected to draw over 60,000 people, who will be sampling about 1,000 ales and ciders from around the world.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to hop across the ocean and make the party. However, we are privy to a bunch of photos from the festivities, including this snap of a gentleman we have affectionately named "Grumpy Chicken Hat Man."

And, really, how can a person appear to be so crabby when surrounded by beer and wearing such a fantastic hat?
