Our friends at FilmDrunk bring word that "The Hangover" director Todd Phillips will be producing the long-awaited John Belushi biopic. The project has been bouncing around for the last few years, but with the Phillips magic attached, the likelihood it will come to fruition has greatly increased.Due to his sad end, one can't expect a John Belushi film to be a slapstick comedy, Todd Phillips or not.
It's true there are enough former SNL-ers still alive and kicking to challenge the theory that there is an actual curse on retired "SNL" players. And it's not like the entertainment industry is conducive to old age, in general. Still, Belushi is far from the only actor from the world's most famous sketch comedy show who died before his time.
We want to know which of these tragic clowns was your favorite.
