More than 50 percent of women would rather give up an entire summer of sex than gain 10 pounds. A survey of 1,001 American adults, done on behalf of the weight-loss company Nutrisystem, also found that a shocking 25 percent of men would prefer to remain celibate for an entire season, if it meant they wouldn't pack on 10 extra pounds.
Other findings include that 25 percent of all Americans would prefer losing 10 pounds to getting a promotion at work, whereas 73 percent would give up either their computer, cell phone or TV for an entire summer in exchange for a 10-pound weight loss.
OK, sacrificing sex for skinniness is one thing -- folks go without sex all the time and get nothing for it. But no cell phone? We'll believe it when we see it.

I think the women who took this survey are unaware that sex actually burns calories just like any other physical activity. You can scratch that itch and still loose weight in the process without having to sacrifice one for the other. It's a win-win.
