The nation met Valerie Plame in 2005, when federal prosecutors charged that the Bush administration blew the cover of the former CIA operative in order to strike back at an anti-administration op-ed column her husband, Joe Wilson, wrote in The New York Times.

When the story broke and folks realized that Plame was actually a good-looking blonde with a really cool name, a refrain of "Who will play her in the movie?" rang out across the land.

Now, five years later, we know the answer. Our friends at FilmDrunk have the trailer for "Fair Game," which is based on Plame's memoir. Noami Watts will being playing Plame, and Sean Penn is the aggressively haired Joe Wilson.

The film will be directed by Doug Liman, who helmed "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," so he knows a little something about glamorous couples who have themselves a secret.

Nevertheless, Plame-gate, as it was called, seemed like it happened 100 years ago. Are you still interested? Or is this spy tale past its shelf life?
