Wal-Mart is a truly amazing place where you can buy just about anything a human could possibly need at just about any hour of the day.Straight from the new book "People of Walmart: Shop & Awe," which is brought to you by the same folks who run the meme Web site People of Walmart, we present our favorite Wal-Mart parenting fails.

How would you know which aisle the correct punctuation is located in? With your missing apostrophe and period I'd be the last person throwing around sarcastic comments about someone else's punctuation.

Well you gotta love the kid in the buggy filled with alcohol, particularly because he has a cool attitude, but mainly because he is the designated driver. That kind of restraint when surrounded by booze is admirable. Way to go kid, good lookin out for daddy!

I think what your seeing in these pictures, is the unskilled, uneducated, that prowl the Walmart aisles. There tired, distracted, worried, and forgetful.

Not all who shop at Walmart are unskilled or uneducated. When my granddaughter can go to the pharmacy in Walmart, and purchase a priscription for $4, that cost her $35 at other pharmacies, she shops in Walmart. I think that is rather educated, myself.
Do I wish that everything sold in Walmart was made in America....You bet I do. But, with the prices of most products made in the US....(is it because of the Unions, I don't know) most of us cannot always purchase at other stores.
I did recently purchase a new refrigerator from Sears, and when it broke down after a short time, I learned that it was made in China, or India.....or somewhere other than the US....I guess with the reasoning above, we won't be able to shop in any store in the US, and always get an American made product.

99% of all products in Australia are made in China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia and we barely ever have problems lol. Maybe America gets sent all the seconds and thats why they break down so quickly.

The use of the word "fail" and parenting "fails" is a common term used these days by teenagers. It's just slang for failure and, while one of my pet peeves in life is bad grammar, this is an intentional use by the author (whether we approve or not). On another note, you can try to defend most of these pictures any way you want, but they do add up to major parenting failures.

A parent with a fat kid is a failure, unless there is a medical
reason. These Wallmart images would be repeated in ANY large chain store, for that matter in an public venue where adults and childrencongregate. I also feel sorry for China, these products are the best they can do. Only thing cheaper then chinese products is... are... ummm, you know what? I can't think of anything cheaper... When all is said and done Wallmart is doing something right or they wouldn't be so all encompassing.

Actually the use of the word "fails" is correct in this title.
It's used as a verb.
If you read the second paragraph, you'll understand that the writer is pointing out that when parents enter Walmart, their skills as parents fail.
"So overcome are some parents when they walk into America's superstore that they seem to completely forget that they have entered these most hallowed aisles with child."
Notice, also, that I used the words "it's," "you'll," and "their" correctly. Many people who comment don't know how to spell, or how to use the apostrophe. (Yes, it's spelled correctly.) Very few people seem to know the difference between "they're," "their," or "there."
These are things learned in grammar school.
