The Shelby GT500Schadenfreude is like porn: When you watch it, you know you shouldn't enjoy it, but you do. The only major difference is it's much harder to capture pure, raw hardcore schaudenfreude on film.

Luckily, we found some at Quakecon, the annual gaming convention in Dallas. This year's edition featured a raffle for a brand new, fully loaded, white-hot Shelby GT500.

The winner of the car didn't purchase the ticket from the conventioneers. Rather, he bought it from a fellow attendee, who sold him the winning ticket for $200 -- a ticket that ended up being worth well over $50,000 in sweet, sweet tears.

Cameras were there to capture not just the winning moment but also the transaction, which took place just minutes before they announced the winning ticket number. Check out the hilarious humiliation after the jump, and make sure your junk is covered so your impending schadenfreude boner doesn't offend any fellow co-workers. [Autoblog, via Jalopnik]
