Researchers from New Zealand showed men a series of pictures of women in which their hips, waists and busts were digitally altered to various dimensions. During the experiment, the men's eyes spent the most time focused on the busts of the women in the pictures. However, it turned out how attractive the men rated the photos was most influenced by the ratio of the women's waist to her hip's circumference -- with 70 percent being ideal.

Scientist believe this 0.7 waist-to-hip ratio is a marker of optimal fertility. Marilyn Monroe and Jessica Alba are examples of women who have different overall body types, but who both boast the magic waist-to-hip ratio

So, really, most of us are waist-to-hip-ratio men. But that just doesn't flow off the tongue like "breast man" or "ass man."
