Oh, Alain Robert, you've done it again. Not content with scaling the 41-story RBS Building in Sydney, Australia, last year, he's up to his old tricks again, climbing 57 stories totally unaided. Monday saw the agile Frenchman wiggling his way up Sydney's Lumiere Building, wearing his typical "Zoo" T-shirt and attracting cheers and applause from the gathering crowd below.
After reaching the top of the building, the 48-year-old, stunt-loving climber, affectionately known as "The French Spider-Man," was promptly arrested and now looks to be fined even more than the $750 he was stung with after last year's endeavor.
But why on Earth does he do it? Well, with the best of intentions, it seems. He calls for more help on solving the problem of global warming, in particular with the One Hundred Months campaign.
He's now climbed more than 80 famous buildings, including the 1,400-foot Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and has walked away with barely a scratch. Check below for his latest stunt in Australia.
