Asylum's White House correspondent Tommy Christopher (yes, we have a White House correspondent) was featured on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" last night. And all he had to do for that honor is suffer a heart attack.

You see, Christopher added a Web 2.0 twist to his major coronary event when he live-tweeted it. Right after he started getting chest pains and contacted 911, the avid Twitter user informed his followers what was happening, and continued to update on his condition from the ambulance.

Christopher, who has double-bypass surgery scheduled for the later in the week, is resting in the hospital now, and continues to tweet.

As for "The Tonight Show," well, the punch line to Leno's bit about Christopher was: "The doctors aren't worried about him losing his life because apparently he never had one."

So, if you spend a couple moments tweeting, you have no life, but if you spend an hour watching "The Tonight Show" ...

Anyway, wish Tommy well, and check below to see his late-night "debut."
