Another summer has abruptly ended, yet wine enthusiasts take comfort in the kickoff of the harvest season. We recently met up with Nicole Simpkins, proprietor of the Lancaster Estate Winery in Sonoma, Calif., who oversees production and quality control for the outfit's many wines. She treated us to a few of its finest selections. We tried our best to keep up with her and, of course, to stay focused on the "cool job" portion of the interview.
