Our happy hour fact to amaze your drinking buddies with.

High-quality marijuana is cheapest in the Pacific Northwest.

The Price of Weed is a crowdsourcing website where marijuana consumers submit how much high-, medium- and low-quality weed costs in their area. It turns out tokers only have to pay $265 for an ounce of kind bud in Oregon, as opposed to shelling out $484 an ounce for the high-quality stuff in Delaware.

Other states for top-notch marijuana on the cheap include Montana at $271 an ounce, Alaska at $295 and Washington state at $310.

If proximity to Canada drives down the price of high-quality weed, then it is probably proximity to Mexico that makes low-quality weed cheaper. An ounce of swag only cost $57 and $60 in Texas and Arizona, respectively. The national average for low-quality weed is about $125 an ounce.

All in all, The Price of Weed should be a source of endless and not-entirely-focused speculation for those who enjoy the psychoactive plant.
