According to a new study, men find women with long arms more attractive than women with long legs.

Researchers from the University of New South Wales in Australia had men from China and Australia watch videos of 96 different women as they moved about. Then, the men rated each lady for attractiveness.

Surprisingly, long arms was the trait that was most consistent in women who were rated most attractive. Other factors, such as hip and waist size and weight, were also correlated with being good-looking. But long legs? Not so much.

Other recent studies have poured water on the widely-held belief that men favor women with disproportionately long legs. However, this is the first to also have disturbingly simian undertones.
