Minka Kelly, "Friday Night Lights" star and daughter of guitarist Rick Dufay, has just landed her biggest role yet: cover girl for Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive issue for 2010.

Kelly, who is currently wasting her life with Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter, is a surprise choice because almost no one has ever heard of her. "Friday Night Lights" almost didn't make it back to television this season and, when it did, NBC announced this would definitely be its final season.

Holy ratings, Batman -- if only men of the world could see Kelly's Esquire photo shoot, that show would hit number one by next week.
