This year at New York Comic-Con, love was in the air. Not only were free hugs being passed out by cosplaying anime-lovers, there was also a marriage proposal at the Marvel Comics booth. A puppeteer whose name remains unknown -- but who has a YouTube channel here -- popped the question on the stage in front of fans, while Captain America, Bucky Cap and Spider-Man Noir looked on. Oh, and she said yes!
Our friends at ComicsAlliance are big supporters of geek love and applaud the choice of proposing in front of a crowd of costumed onlookers -- although they probably would have dressed up as Spider-Man and Mary Jane. Head over to ComicsAlliance to see video of the proposal. (via ComicsAlliance)
