amber angela cope nascar twins No offense to NASCAR fans, but we're not convinced that watching cars move at about the same rate of speed in an endless loop is somehow a sport. But thanks to Angela and Amber Cope, we at least now have a reason to tune in.

These twins are the nieces and protegés of 1990 Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope, who lured them to North Carolina a few years ago in order to learn them in the ways of the samurai. Uh, actually the race car driver. Sorry.

Since then, the 27-year-olds have been virtually ubiquitous on the track. Tomorrow, they'll make their NASCAR debuts at Martinsville during a World Truck Series race, and massive media attention has already come their way.

Angela told NASCAR (probably in a very, very refined voice, we're sure), "I think the obstacles we run into is that we are girly girls. We are blond, and everyone thinks that we are out to be models not racers. We will make our mark in this sport, earn everyone's respect and look great." We just hope they remember us at the finish line and maybe make a pit stop in our bedroom afterward.
