Greg, a middle school teacher from Nashville, Tenn., has figured out how to make a jack-o-lantern smile without even putting his hands on the giant squash.

Instead he accurately fires at pumpkins with a handgun. Luckily, he also films the feats and posts it on his YouTube channel, resulting in some of the most mantastic Halloween videos since Ernest got scared stupid.

Greg, who doesn't want his last name used because he keeps firearms at his home, told Asylum the best kind of gun to use in pumpkin carving is one powerful enough to make noticeable holes, but not so powerful as to blow off the whole face of the pumpkin.

He specifically recommends Glocks: "I chose a Glock 23 in .40 caliber for my pumpkin carving this year. Last year I chose the Glock 21 in .45 caliber."

Greg's been shooting firearms most of his life and has participated in shooting competitions. So for him, this unique way of pumpkin carving just came naturally.

As of now, pumpkins are the only canvas for his firearm art, but he "plans on doing some things with metal in the future."
