An unnamed 84-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was caught blasting her way down the highway ... in the wrong direction.

At least four accidents occurred, the elderly lady oblivious to the cars screaming toward her, horns blaring and tires screeching.

Footage of the amazing event was recorded by an astonished driver, who was headed the same direction -- but on the right side of the road. The onlooker reportedly waved manically to attract her attention -- perhaps making him or her as dangerous as the senior citizen -- but to no avail.

The daredevil granny somehow managed to avoid any direct collisions, as oncoming traffic swerved out of her way to save her life.

She even managed to cross all three lanes to exit the roadway safely, despite all the carnage that surrounded her, and has since been tracked down after her daughter recognized her distinctive car on the news. Needless to say the old lady's car keys have been confiscated by her family while the police consider pressing charges. Keep reading for the incredible footage.
