For some reason, there's a tradition in Toronto that says you must feed pumpkins to the polar bears in the city zoo.

Anyway, CTV weatherman Tom Brown, our pumpkin-flinging meteorologist of choice, was on the scene for a live report when he dropped his microphone into the polar bear enclosure along with a pumpkin.

His co-workers then proceed to basically ridicule the poor man on three separate occasions.

Goes to show, you shouldn't lob pumpkins at ferocious bears -- as even if they can't attack you face-to-face, they can still exert some push on the cosmic will of the universe, force your precious microphone tumble out of your hands and make you the laughingstock of your office.
