There are untold number of ways to kill the unnamed, unsatisfied undead. You can chop their skulls off with a razor-sharp machete. You can stick a wind-proof umbrella in their bloody maw and open the sucker. You can even award them a sub-prime mortgage loan that they clearly can't afford, then "robo-foreclose" on their home and drive them into a spiral of suicidal depression.

And now, thanks to film and editing technology, you can do it all from the comfort of your personal computer. You don't even have to wear pants, unless you're on a Starbucks Wi-Fi. Baristas don't get paid to see your junk.

That's because the Canadian design studio Analogue chopped up George Romero's groundbreaking zombie classic "Night of the Living Dead" and turned into one of the most entertaining "Choose Your Own Adventures" on the Internet -- called (appropriately) "Editing the Dead." It doesn't add anything to the 1968 horror flick, which started the zombie movie outbreak, and still manages to end with several depressing and tragic outcomes.

We'll get you started with the first leg of your zombie-fighting journey below. After that, you're on your own. You'll just slow us down.
