If there's anyone who condemns saggy pants more than cranky old people and the belt industry, it's Bobby White, principal of Westside Middle School in Memphis.White launched the "Urkel Initiative" to get his students to wear their britches in a respectable fashion that keeps their scrotes from hanging out.
Those caught sagging will be punished with the ultimate humiliation: Their pants will be jacked up high (a la '90s nerd Steve Urkel) and fastened with twist ties.
The delinquents then have to wear their wedgie-inducing style for the remainder of the day, and their photo will be taken and added to the school's "Wall of Shame." No word on whether they're forced to say in a whiny, high-pitched voice, "Did I do that?"
Keep reading to watch these young saggers get Urkelized.

I think it's a fabulous idea- Too bad more school administrations don't have the guts to enforce their own rules!

It seems to me that the only way that the principal is able to voice any objection to boys who wear their pants in what he considers to be an inappropriate way is that the boys are attending school. Now that he has them there, shouldn't his task be to educate them rather than to punish them?
I have never been a fan of the fashions of teenagers, except when I was one. But it seems to me that it is hard enough to get a kid to attend school, and to ridicule him doesn't seem very productive. The choice should be to see to it that he gets what he is there for, a decent education.

Pants on the Ground Head up your Arse.
Looking Like a Fool with load in your
Pants.
Seniors over 80 should adopt the Fashion
until the Young give it up. If it doesn't
work at first then only the Incontinent. :-)
I thought who would hire a Moron wearing that
fashion and then I walked through Trader Joes
and found out.
Anyway, the Thug Division has a tougher time
fleeing the scene.

What a great idea!! All principles/school boards should be allowed to have their students adhere to a 'no sagging' code on all school property and at all school functions. And that goes for anyone visiting the school campus or any school activity. My hat's off to the staff that implemented that policy.

Whine whine whine... This is cruel and unusual punishement fo doze minuriddy boys. And it is definitedly racist!
But then I always wondered why the kids that could not afford a belt, could carry an expensive cell phone, wear costly, garish and oversize booties and exhibit all that gold. Well, it does impress the girls.

What a novel idea! And he didn't have to threaten the offenders with any harsh punishment. I'm proud of the students in that they accepted their "punishment" with grace and not violence. Kudos to Principal White! Our schools need more principals like Mr. Bobby White.

Today I was shopping in my local supermarket and some guy about 19 was wearing his pants under his butt. Seriously - this is obscene! Who says I want to look at this guys ass, in his boxer shorts sticking out! This isn't a cool look, its weird and revolting! Thank GOD for the Jonas Brothers who at least know what FASHION is, even if you don't like their music.

I so agree with you. What I don't understand is why is this not considered indecent exposure? You cannot tell me that if a female wore her pants in that fashion she wouldn't be cited for indecent exposure. Men can go shirtless but women can't. Don't get me wrong, I don't think women should, just case in point.
I have told guys to pull their pants up because it is offensive to me and especially if my young granddaughter is with me. And it is too funny when they go to get money out of their pockets, they have to actually bend over just to get to their pockets. LOL Also, they walk holding them up.....don't do anything wrong and let the cops give chance....you gonna lose b/c you gonna get tripped up on your pants. I am in safety at my job and I don't allow it for that very purpose.
There just needs to be guidelines for this crap. It is totally inappropriate.

Way to go Mr. White! You finally did something about a problem we all despise daily. What a sickening and pathetic habit. All schools should follow suit, and all parents should back this common sense move. If you parents let your sons do this, then you are just as much to blame for the shame you bring on them and yourselves!
