We all know ice hockey games can easily spill over into violence as the tension builds -- but this one managed to become an all-out brawl in just six seconds. No sooner had the referee dropped the puck to begin the clash between two Russian Hockey League teams, then the players were swiping at each other with sticks and dragging each other to the ice.
While referees were (eventually) able to regain control of the game, one team's management have claimed the brawl was a pre-planned act against them.
A number of players have even been called in by police to answer questions about starting the fight and could face civil charges. Calls have also been made for the team to be kicked out of the KHL and players banned for life.
