Last week, we brought you news of a dog that sat on his owner's shoulders like a parrot. That mutt's got nothing on this border collie named Chaser, who has a vocabulary of more than 1,000 words. Not that she can speak them, of course. She can, however, understand them. So, when her owner and trainers, Alliston Reid and John Pilley of Wofford College in South Carolina, say, for example, "circle," she'll pick up a circular toy.
Previously, highly trained dogs have only been able to respond to around 400 or 250 words, so Chaser and her trainers are really leaving the competition behind.
Check out this footage of Chaser doing her thing if you don't believe us.
