Our friends at With Leather bring word that there are new photos circling the Internet of New York Jets coach Rex Ryan's wife, Michelle, that are far racier than the PG-13 foot fetish videos that pushed her to forefront a couple weeks ago.

Rex Ryan has been deflecting all questions about his wife by giving variations of the "It's a personal matter" response.

How long Ryan is able to keep this up probably depends on how aggressive the mainstream media is in pursuing this story. On the one hand, we tend to agree with Rex that this is a personal matter, and he shouldn't have to comment on it.

However, playing devil's advocate, one could make a pretty good argument that since Michelle Ryan has posted racy material in public forums like YouTube -- and because some people think you can hear Rex Ryan's voice in some the videos -- it's a perfectly legitimate story which Ryan is going to eventually have to address.

Can you even imagine the inevitable frenzy over this if the Jets happen to make the Super Bowl?
