Ted Williams has a famous name and golden voice. Unfortunately, years of drug and alcohol abuse have left him homeless. (That'll happen.)Two years clean, Williams panhandles on the streets of Columbus, Ohio, while holding a handwritten sign advertising that he has the "God-given gift of a great voice." His hope is that someone from a television or radio station will see him, hear him speak, and offer him a voice-over job.
A reporter from the Columbus Dispatch caught up with Williams and conducted a video interview. Read on to check it out, and hear the voice that surprises you even if you know it's coming.

This is amazing. Heard he will be on the Today Show tomorrow. From homeless in Cleveland to national sensation overnight. Nice to see a story like this.

Ted has a great voice BUT HE SMOKES!!! Why would anyone with a terrific voice which is a God-given gift threaten it with cigarettes? He won't be working long if he ends up with throat cancer. Good luck, but stop smoking Ted.
