1. Grins & Smiles & Giggles & Laughs

Created in 1975, GSGL's "story" was of four characters named Grins, Smiles, Giggles and Laughs who had to make the robot laugh to get it to vomit up boxes of cereal. While its concept is exceptionally weird, we actually ranked it number one for its profound tagline: "It takes funny people to make funny cereal." Of course, we interpreted that as "funny-weird," not "funny ha-ha."

I remember nearly all of these cereals, and loved them all...junk food junkie I suppose... I even had some Quisp about 2 years ago... I miss these things...the ads, the toys...what not... I hate being older. :(

I remember this cereal! I even remember the commercials, and the robot vomiting up the boxes of the cereal while laughing after saying, "Now that's funny!" I hope I find these ads on youtube!
