I am a fully heterosexual female, but I will have to say that some of the transvestites/cross dressers in the above article and some I've seen on television (Oprah had a program on just this topic several years ago) look better than some women (including ME!). I have a homosexual acquaintence (male) ~ I know him through the church where I used to work ~ who is an entertainer and one of his characters is as a female vocalist. Let me tell ya, when 'he' appears as this voluptuous female character you would NEVER guess 'she' wasn't fully female ... he/she simply puts many women to shame (both as a vocalist ~ and in the 'looks' department!) I don't claim to understand any of this kind of 'stuff', but if I were a guy 'on-the-make', I'd be really careful picking up a female in a bar (or elsewhere) if ya don't want to 'date' a transvestite! Some of them are simply gorgeously convincing!

I'm actually completely horrified at this point. There is never an excuse for transphobia, even if this does appear to be half in jest. Besides which, a) you've assumed that all trans people are MtF, b) you're promoting the idea that every transperson is going to become a heterosexual after surgery, hormones, etc., c) you're mocking something that is fairly serious, and d) you've given people flawed information.
