THE HOPE: The once high and mighty (and somewhat healthy) Life cereal has finally embraced the dark side. THE DELIVERY: At first glance, this one appears to be a lame attempt at making allegedly health-conscious adults feel comfortable eating chocolate-laced cereal (hey, it's whole-grain), but prescient children will see it for what it really is: A sly way to get Ma to spring for the good stuff. Not enough chocolate chunks, but they gather at the bottom of the bowl for a climactic final bite. Recommended, if you already like Life.
