Brigitte Nielsen sacks Mark Gastineau

In 1988 QB killer Mark Gastineau retired from the NFL mid-season - even though he was leading the league in sacks. The reason for his surprise departure was he had met his physical and romantic match in 6-foot-1 action hero Brigitte Nielsen, and wanted to spend more time with her. Their relationship only lasted a year, but Gastineau never returned to the NFL, and, after series of legal run-ins, ended up serving 11 months in the pokey. On the more ironic side, who'd have ever thought the hulking sack king would share a woman with tiny Flavor Flav?
