Feb 8th 2008 8:38PM Considering that 48% of the world's cocoa comes from Ivory Coast - and there are 15,000 children between the ages of 9 - 12 ENSLAVED on cocoa plantations there (per the US State Department) - I can think of 15,000 other reasons to not eat chocolate.

Unless we KNOW it's slave free (like Newman's Own), don't eat chocolate.

Pretty Powerful In Pink {Queer Sighted}

Oct 1st 2007 1:56PM I have 5 sons, and they all look good in pink, especially when they were babies! I just bought a pink button-down shirt for my 16 yo son, and he wears it to work and out with his friends (he's straight, but is into theatre, so he has gay friends and he's a big human rights advocate).

That's cool that boys used to wear pink - I think it's a great color, and I think men in pink are really very attractive.

Breast-feeding mom takes on Applebee's {ParentDish}

Sep 7th 2007 1:40PM If a mom has to cover up when breastfeeding at Applebee's if another customer is offended, then I want to know if we can insist that women with cleavage showing be forced to cover that up as well.

Because that is perversion, in my opinion - breasts are for breastfeeding, and to expose them for any other reason in a public place is just plain indecent! :)

Hahahahahaha! As I said earlier, I've been a Scientologist for 17 years - and that allegation is one I have never heard before. That's REALLY funny. I can't wait to get home and tell my husband - it'll be news to him, too!

Seriously, people, LOOK for yourself. THINK for yourself. Go to your local Church of Scientology and ask for a tour.

The rumors are just hilarious, though. Next thing you know, we'll be eating babies and drinking their blood. Oh, wait - that was what "everyone knows" the early Christians did.. right? right?

Oh, right - that was just another stupid, malicious rumor.

Think for yourself, folks. Didn't you play "telephone" when you were a kid? It was an important lesson, I think.

Jun 20th 2007 3:56PM This is ridiculous. I've been a Scientologist for 17 years and know a number of gay and lesbian Scientologists. They are treated like everyone else in the church - with dignity. They get help for those areas of life THEY want help with - overcoming past loss, increasing communication abilities, improving study, bettering their relationships. This story was not well researched, but rather, just a repeat of old rumors and lies. Too bad.
