Oct 31st 2009 2:45PM You THINK funeral homes make money? Well I worked for one for a long time and they got screwed every chance people could screw them! One family had a nice 20,000 funeral for their loved one......and promptly filed BANKRUPTCY! (keeping the life insurance money because it was in another family members name...nothing the funeral home could do) There were many FREE funerals for children and babies because the parents simply couldn't afford to bury their child, donated caskets, donated services, donated plot, donated headstone. This is why the prices are so high at funeral homes, and yes they have the market cornered but many funeral homes are also as much a part of a family having buried all their family members through the same funeral home for generations.

They screw over their employees right left and center, the businesses that sell at walmart aren't making much money but they are producing volume. Walmart is a tough customer to the food industry, wanting everything for nothing. The only one making a profit is Walmart.

Oct 31st 2009 11:34AM Cheaper to cremate that bury........and who wants to spend their eternity in a WALMART CASKET anyway? You know where its made AND you know its probably made with lead paint (especially for the pall bearers contamination) AND the casket will disintegrate within a week of being out of sight aka 6ft under.
Better off just digging a hole and tossing you in it and covering you up and save the cash for the family. Better to roast ya and have a great big party celebrating your LIFE.

HOW it managed to last as long as it did I'll never know....he should go take his job back from Conan because Conan sucks too! Johnny Carson could rock that show and time-slot but Leno and Conan will never be a Johnny Carson!

Jon has every RIGHT to call the show OFF. I'm sure the kids are under tremendous stress as it is just from the divorce, they don't need to be on tv every week. They don't need to hear their parent son tv or read (later for the younger ones) all the nasty things the parents are saying about each other.

Don't blame Jon. You can look at Kate and see how utterly hateful she is. He grew a new 'set' and Kate doesn't like a MAN that will stand against her. She wants to wear the pants in the family and carry his cajones around in her purse.

I'm on Jon's side and I'm a woman. I would never treat my husband the way Kate has treated her soon to be EX husband.
