It all goes to show you that the gov is all about itself and not the ones who put them into office. They are all a bunch of crooks. When will we learn? LOL...parties don't matter folks, what matters is integrity...that went out the window with the Great American lifestyle....greed is king now. That is sorry. I am just traveling through...waiting on the Lord to take me home. This is only a temporary place to be.

Jul 26th 2010 10:30AM I hope you all just read on today's main page how much Congress is spending for meals and other things! They have these perks and SPEND, SPEND, SPEND! All on my tax and your tax dollars. Yet unemployment, the deficit, and loss of jobs and heart is chokingn our nation. I am sure that the terriorists do not have to finish us off. We are letting the Government do it to us! Who would not want to work in their place?! Hey, Americans keep mouths shut and give us their hard earned money to blow! Weeeee...lets get a par-tay catered! It won't take too much, just the poor people in America's tax dollars!

I know what the Bible says: If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and seek My Face, I will hear from heaven and heal their land....We know that is the basic way of it. Too many people have thrown God away and now they wonder why things are going bad. He also said: what you bring into the lives of others will come back into your own. So,those who are so "Me" oriented will one day see that the Messiah is right and will surprise visit us again! I do not care what is said about me...My Lord Jesus said that we would be persecuted. I know He is real...I have experienced HIS LOVE first hand. I found why the bible says the angels worship Him day and night...that LOVE is so pure, indescribible in human terms! But...I know it was truly a humbling experience. I have told others about my experience with God's saving grace. I wanted to stay in that forever because it was so beautiful! No earth relationship has ever been this beautiful! God is first in my life. I know people will call me a "Jesus-Freak". Go for it! Please feel free...He has already shown me that I am His child and I am so happy that is true! Candy, do not let this bother you. For Jesus was treated much, much worse! I am not saying I am better than anyone...I am saying Praise God, I am a sinner saved by His Grace...the blood spilled at Calvary for all of us. I only wish people would give Him a try...I am so sorry for those who miss Him...it is a terrible loss. I have told others of my experience with salvation...they had the same when they repented and asked Him into their hearts.

Then we have the problem of illegal aliens. Too many people hire them because most Americans cannot afford to live on what they pay! The illegals will work hard for any money. That is going to be the end of America as we know it. The job market is bad enough as it is...and now we have to compete with outsiders. I am a nurse and even though jobs are advertised, they do not hire you just because you have a nursing degree. They too, want more than a degree. Also...the hospitals bring in nurses from India and other countries which make it harder for American nurses to get work. Then if you make a little more than you did as a cashier before you went to nursing school, the Government takes it in taxes! So..you feel punished for trying to get that education to make life better for your family. As it stands now, the economy is hard! Lots of us out of work and it just may get worse! Brace yourselves. We may all be picking out a spot under an overpass at the freeway!

But...we do not know this man personally. Nor do we know her either. So...let the court decide. We are not to judge one another. That is God's job. Jul 22nd 2010 2:05AM Morris, you said it well! People who get off on being a bully and continue to get away with it do not stop until they are stopped! The kids do need punished. Not for life. They are young and so were we all at one time. I do not hate the kids who bullied me for not being from the North like they were. I hate what they did. I just hope that they outgrew that mindset. I hope somehow they found out that it was wrong and hurtful. Usually it takes we humans a time of tasting the sauce ourselves before we decide it is good enough for others...in other words...treat others like you want them to treat you! Because somewhere down that road of life, you really will reap what you have sown and then you will wonder "Why me?' "What did I do to deserve all of this misery?" Take a look back and think that sometimes crap happens, but...this could be what the Bible says about getting double back for what you do to others!

Jul 22nd 2010 1:55AM I see what Cee was saying. She was not actually accusing the young lady of being the problem! She was saying that the article is basically saying the victim is the problem!
I understand what is it like to be bullied. I moved from the South in the early 70's an went to high school in the North. I was a kid. The other kids made fun of me calling me all sorts of dinigrating names because I was from the South. It was a horrible time in my life. I was only 13 and it hurt deeply. I do not blame parents totally. I know that bullies do this so that they can feel better about themselves. They have their own issues and to torture and make another person feel bad, takes their mind off their own inadequacies for a little while. But...I do think that charity (love) starts at home. So if you teach your children that it is wrong to mistreat others, then hopefully they will learn. Ask them to think about how they would feel if someone treated them bad and called them names. We really have slipped away from good morals and Christianity in this so calle new age. The problem with that is more children are growing up with the attitude of: "It's all about me and what I want". That usually comes at the expense of another human being. Please, try to teach your children that bullying is wrong and can cause horrible damage that may never be undone. Just like this young girl who lost her life! If even one child dies because of bullying, that means we all have lost a part of ourselves, for we are all part of mankind and this lose just diminishes us all! Poor little girl. How much heartache did she endure before her heart broke beyond repair. RIP Phoebe.

Jul 21st 2010 12:11AM I have to agree with Gina. I believe that genetics plays a big part in most illnesses. Especially cancers. However; I do think there is something to the fact that we have so much junk put in foods to preserve it and make keep fresher longer. Then we have whatever the cow has been fed in milk supplies. The little girls have been maturing earlier for quite a while now. My daughter did and even her young daughter who is 8 years old! Children can't be children when they look 2 or 3 years older! Scary! I read some studies on that back when my own daughter was growing up that also suggested that hormones put in feed for cattle was getting into the milk our kids drink and little girls are paying the price for it!

Jul 21st 2010 12:06AM We had to have mold remediation when Katrina hit here a few years ago. We were informed that spraying anything into that mold would release spores that you could breathe in and get very ill. The mold can set up housekeeping in the lungs and even kill people. It loves dark warm areas.
So, if you do have mold, at least put on some kind of mask/barrier to protect you from inhaling it. Do not spray directly into it. Dry air will kill it quicker and safer. Mold thrives on moisture and the dryer you keep the place, the better.
