Nicolas Cage's Financial Problems Linked to His Lavish Spending Habits? {Popeater}

Nov 7th 2009 4:19PM Nicholas Gage will come out of this when he sells enough to pay the taxes. He won't bat an eye at paying the money and will just move on. He will most likely get a better accountant and have him checked by another one. But, I am sure that he will have it all under control. Otherwise, he will sink fast. I have to make a guess and say that he bought all of this stuff to fill up some void in his life. Also to have in case he needed money quick and could sell it! I would think, that charity would put some of the donations to good cause. I also think some of these actors do the charity bit to make themselves look good and also to fend off the IRS. I am just glad they give something to the people who made them what they are. RICH.

Work From Home: 7 Companies Hiring Now {Careers Articles}

Nov 4th 2009 10:23PM It would be really nice to find a job that I could do at home. I love being on the computer. At this time, I am a nurse who is off work on family leave due to ankle surgery. I really, really need to earn some extra money. Either that, or explain to the Grandchildren that I have no Christmas presents this year. Whew...that will be a really hard job!

Holiday Gifts 2009: From A-Z {Shopping Articles Blog}

Nov 4th 2009 5:24PM First I would like to be able to afford Christmas presents for my family and grandchildren this year, have my ankle heal from surgery so I can go back to work, and finally I would really like a good microscope to show my grandkids what the "invisible world looks like...encourage them in the sciences and medical fields.

Mel Gibson Calls William Wallace a 'Monster' {Inside Movies Blog}

Nov 1st 2009 8:29PM Sally, I agree with you. We are quick to condemn others and at the same time we are doing as much wrong as they are doing only a little differently. One sin is as bad as any sin, for any sin is bad in God's eyes. Sin is sin just like dirt is dirt. Different types of dirt, but...nevertheless still dirt. So, as Jesus said, pick the plank out of your eye before trying to pull the splinter out of your brothers eye. Makes sense to me.

'Notes Left Behind' Dad Says It's All About The Smaller Moments {ParentDish}

Oct 28th 2009 11:29PM Everyone, please ignore DON and HOWARD, they are attempting to get attention. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO HAVE IT.That is what they are hoping for. The Bible says that we will all give account of every word we utter. So, let God handle their words and them.
I used to work as a Hospice nurse and have been honored to be in attendance at many deaths. I am so glad that I have God in my life. I could not imagine not depending upon Him and the Love He has for us. I know He is real and therefore, I know I will see my loved ones and those I took care of in Hospice (you become attached, and love them too) when my time on earth is over. Just as this sweet family will see their little Elena again one day in Heaven! God bless them!

U.S. Official Matthew Hoh Resigns in Protest of Afghanistan War Policy {Politics Daily}

Oct 27th 2009 3:57PM So far, the only "CHANGE" I have seen is Mrs. Obama changing into different clothes for the cameras. The mags are all about what she is wearing and all about the family trips they take. I am still waiting for some small indication of this "CHANGE" we all heard about...there is one thing that has not changed...not giving our soldiers the workable weapons and supplies needed just to make it over there. I am tired of this war. I know it is never going to stop. But...there are many, many, more problems in this USA that need the so called "CHANGE" to get busy and cure! You know, his campaign manager did well...Americans were needing a "CHANGE" bad and it was the perfect slogan for him to win on! Then too, Oprah the media had him elected long before the election happened. TIME MAGAZINE had Obama on every single issue for the entire year of election! If McCain had come up with "CHANGE" and the media had made him their darling, maybe he would have made it. LOL. I say to Mr. Obama: "Where's the beef" of this change?!

Why has the price of gas jumped 18 cents a gallon? {Daily Finance}

Oct 26th 2009 4:12PM CHANGE, change, change....I hear an echo in the air, just wish it were real...too bad "change" won't put gas in the car and groceries on the table. Nice word...nice slogan...people want it! Good word to use....hmmmm...

Oct 26th 2009 4:09PM Yes, and before we can even grow some new wool, they shear us again! Maybe one day there will be no more wool to shear! OOPs, maybe it is here already!

Oct 26th 2009 4:00PM No, not missing a thing. They will use ANY EXCUSE to steal money from your pocketbook! It is because of GREED and desire to have more MONEY for THEMSELVES. While the rest of us work our butts off and just get by, these jokers are riding on a high horse. We are just the poor peed-ons who have to make the money to keep them on their high horses.

Baxter the Therapy Dog Dies {Pawnation}

Oct 26th 2009 2:57PM Dogs Friend, you said it right. Sometimes angels do wear dogs clothes. We have had many pets through the years, each has its own personality. They all shared unconditional love. Oftentimes animals show more of the LOVE of Jesus than we humans do. That is why I know they have a special place with the Lord. Any animal that is so sweet and loving has to have an eternal life as well as we do. I first saw Baxter's video last a month or so ago. It was precious then and still is. He will remain in the hearts of those who have seen him. I felt so touched by his life. As a nurse who has worked in hospice. I know that life is really shorter than we think. We NEED more individuals to share love with those who are ill or dying. It really makes a difference. Just as Baxter did. Maybe he will inspire some of us to even visit shutins and those in nursing homes who are deserted by family, or have no one. You have no idea what a little love can do for someone like that. God bless you all and Baxter, RIP.
