Reports coming in of DST-related Snow Leopard issues {TUAW.com}

Nov 1st 2009 11:33AM I didn't notice it on my Mac at the time, but my friend's Xbox 360 froze and the latency went skyrocketing on a Doom iPhone match my friends and I were having, all at the same time. We assumed voodoo was at hand..!

MacBook Car-nage: Surviving a drive-over {TUAW.com}

Sep 14th 2009 10:04AM I beg to differ. My Macbook has survived a good two years of transporting between home and work in little more than a sleeve and my giant Chrome courier bag. Whether on bike, foot, running, walking, and taking public transportation. The Macbook looks good as new, minus a few small scratches. I haven't experienced the cracks in the case (though my white iPhone is a different story) and it looks glossy as ever, and that's NOT from the plastic eroding from sweaty palms and greasy fingers!

I will also say that I much prefer aluminum. RIP, my sweet Powerbook 12".. I'm really surprised this Macbook has stood up, regardless!

Snow Leopard: Get your Logitech mouse & keyboard working again {TUAW.com}

Sep 1st 2009 4:15PM You have saved me! I was worried I wouldn't be able to play Quake Live accurately at work for a second there. I did a little looking around the internets to see if there was a fix, but I couldn't find a thing. Through doing my usual news session, I came across this!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some Quake Live to play!

Is the Mac OS X 10.5.7 update causing you grief? {TUAW.com}

Jun 11th 2009 4:39PM I've actually found that 10.5.7 has helped all of the crashes I used to get constantly! I haven't had a problem with my Macbook 2.0Ghz merom. My friend has a Macbook Pro 1.86Ghz first gen, so I'll have to see if he's experiencing any of these problems..
