Jan 31st 2010 4:32AM The author of this article seems to forget there are MEN with dangerous jobs in America and the wearing of jewelry can cause them harm or even death. I have been married for 23 years and not been able to wear a wedding band due to my job as a maintenance technician. I deal with machines on a daily basis with many moving parts and high voltages. I guess I'm lucky, I've been married 23 years and my wife isn't so insecure that she demands or even request I wear one. She understands the danders of my job and figures my fingers are important to me.
