UFC Octagon Girls Visit Sydney's Wildlife Center {MMA Fighting}
Feb 26th 2011 1:32AM Yeah, I see what you're getting at. That beautiful face, that ridiculous body...she's nothing compared to your wife/girlfriend, whom I can only assume is either so hot as to not be looked at, or strongly resembles a manatee. Wait...Spiro was it? Got it. Greek. Yep...it all makes sense now. Girls ARE icky Spiro! This looks like a job for Theo, George, and Costas.
No Way Dr. King Would Wear Air Jordans {Fanhouse Main}
Jan 17th 2011 6:59PM I'd rather address your well thought out, and rational comment than Terence Moore who, as per usual, is in another realm of lunacy. Michael Jordan is well noted for participating, chairing, running, donating time/money to: the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, UNCF/College Fund, Special Olympics, Michael Jordan Charity International Golf Tournament, and the James R. Jordan Boys and Girls Club and Family Life Center. Michael Jordan has been honored for his charitable involvement by the Jackie Robinson Foundation. The United States Senate also honored him after his retirement for being a goodwill ambassador throughout the world, and his humanitarian efforts.
So, Mr. Moore...have you done your homework? You get an F for your research skills.
A.J. Burnett 'Embarrassed' After Cutting Hands During Clubhouse Tantrum {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Jul 17th 2010 9:58PM Agreed. Only way it gets sillier is if he changes his name to Kevin Brown.
Be Grateful Cliff Lee Is Anywhere but NY {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Jul 10th 2010 5:17PM MLB DOES in fact survive based on the whims (and wins) of its flagship and loose spending teams. Look at the disparity of small market team attendance. They languish all year, but when a team like the Yankees comes to town, attendance and viewership spikes. Next, watch a Tampa game, and witness the amount of Yankee hats versus Tampa hats. Furthermore, MLB revenue sharing is based on the "haves" giving to the "have nots"...again predicated on the Yankees (and similar minded teams) paying exorbitant sums for players. PLEASE stop whining and crying about how much the Yankees, the Red Sox, the Mets and all other teams of their ilk are ruining baseball with free spending. Not only is it tiresome, it's uneducated- the Pohlad's (the Minnesota Twins owners) are the wealthiest owners on paper. If an owner can afford to buy a team and maintain it's resources and overhead, which run into the MANY millions, they can contend with plenty of salaries, they can develop their farm as well as the next guy, and they can use the revenue sharing to their benefit- please read about the 2008 Rays, 2007 Rockies, 2003 Marlins, and any and all contenders in the past 10 years. You will find a relative shoestring budget in every year of the playoffs.
La Russa Backs Arizona Immigration Law {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Jun 30th 2010 7:35PM Before this makes the main AOL screen and this topic gets bombarded by opinionated grazers who don't know sports from politics, or anything else in between, I'd like to applaud Tony La Russa the individual, not Tony La Russa the coach. Whether I agree with the immigration law or not (I actually FULLY support it for ALL the right reasons), Tony actually has the guts to say it out loud. That being said, I'm not sure I feel fully comfortable with Missouri state baseball coaches weighing on on such a heavy topic. His job and his politics aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, but his business isn't tied to legal/illegal immigrants despite the overwhelming amount of foreign born baseball players. He's a baseball coach. Coach baseball. Nevertheless, he said what he said (I personally don't like baseball coaches driving drunk) and I'm glad someone with a higher profile had the chutzpah to speak their mind.
Oakland's Dallas Braden Blanks Rays in Perfect Game {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
May 9th 2010 7:19PM Team game baby...ask Dallas Braden what he would rather have, and he'll tell you he wants a World Series ring before the perfect game every day of the week.
P.S. Marlins beat the Yankees in 6 in '03...and all I do is eat, breathe and live everything but baseball. Clearly,the same also holds true for you.
No Rival to Red Sox in 2000s {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Dec 29th 2009 12:22PM That's like saying the fat girl who lost all of her weight is the prettiest, because she managed to overcome her own obstacles. The Yankees went to 4 World Series in the past decade, won 2 just like the Sox, and managed to overcome such fantastic occurrences as Kevin Brown's hand, Randy Johnson's ineffectiveness, David Wells meltdown, rampant steroid reports, Jaret Wright, Carl Pavano, Rondell White, Tony Womack, and I could go on and on. Don't give the Sox any more credit than they deserve. Call Epstein a genius, call Cashman another genius, say burgeoning salaries and fear of the luxury tax contributed to a lot of things, but don't you dare say the Red Sox are the decade's team. The Yankees opened and closed the decade with World Series wins, bookending a lot of success along the way. My vote for worst writer of this article goes to you.
What's the Most Embarrassing Movie to Watch With Your Parents? {Asylum}
Nov 3rd 2009 11:57AM Serial Mom...watch as your parents squirm at the boy masturbating being caught by his movie parents, quite similar to the real life boy who got caught doing the same thing earlier that week.
A-Rod of Old Has Returned Against Phils {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Oct 30th 2009 2:52AM Wow...they go up against two pitchers with 3 Cy Youngs between 'em, 18 K's and 3 earned runs given up through 15 innings of starting pitching, against the NL's best team and defending world champs, over the course of 2 games, and already he's the ARod of old? I'm no ARod apologist, but let's be grounded here. 10 minutes ago all the sportswriters were rushing to be the first moron through the gate swearing the "new ARod" was more relaxed, was Kate Hudson-ized, and was taking on an exciting approach with his super-android hip. Make up your mind. In 8 AB's he's been beaten by tough pitching. Don't be so quick to label him either way, whether you need a story with a sensational headline or not. It just sounds retarded.
Selig Says Replay Will Be Reviewed {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Oct 29th 2009 11:32PM I'm beginning to think the Progressive Boink Dugout guys have Selig pegged dead on, and aren't joking around at all. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver made it a point to mention that the umpires have all officiated at least 1 World Series. That's great. I watched my wife give birth once. I'm now a certified ob/gyn. The umpiring sucks. They get paid to do one thing...when I do my job as half-assed, I get fired. Absolutely ridiculous.
