Tea Time: Michelle Obama Takes a Cue From Eleanor Roosevelt {Politics Daily}

Nov 22nd 2009 1:26AM Response to Marsha: AMEN!!!

Thank you for your voice of sanity on this site that seems the satanic resident of evil. All they spew is hatred, prejudice, bigotry. But, being demons what else would they spew?

Tea Time: Michelle Obama Takes a Cue From Eleanor Roosevelt {Politics Daily}

Nov 22nd 2009 1:08AM To Ifletcher,"speak for yourself. I think you are not a minority..":

I totally agree with you that that person is full of it; she knows she's pretending to be African American. Michelle has more class in her fingernail than the racists who are posting their evil, satanic remarks on this site. And I wouldn't be surprised if they called themselves "christian." Some christian! They need to stop mocking the LORD by using his name in vain--CHRISTian.

Joel Osteen serves up recession-themed positive thinking {WalletPop}

Nov 14th 2009 3:31PM Hi, Patricia, I can understand your cynicism and your criticism because it doesn't seem right that the people you name: atheists, Wall Street thieves, false prophets, etc., have become wealthy without believing in GOD.

But, we need to remember that Satan, the chief force of evil on earth also has the power to offer wealth to those who worship him. Jesus, himself, was tempted by Satan who tried to bribe him with wealth: "Again the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ''All these things I will give you if You will fall down and worship me." (Matthew 4:8) Jesus rebuffed him.

Many people do not realize that Satan, whose domain is earth now that he's been kicked out of heaven for challenging GOD, also has the ability to reward those who serve him. Those who serve him exhibit his traits of selfishness, hatred, no love for one's neighbor and every other negative behavior that comes to mind. So, just know if the behavior lacks Love, it is not of GOD.

I wish you peace and blessings.

Nov 14th 2009 2:40PM People complain that they believe in GOD, go to church, have faith, and still feel the impact of hard times financially, etc. That may be true, but how many of us seriously practice what we are taught? Faith is the Key. It helps you to to KNOW he will take care of you. It is not enough to Believe in GOD. Scripture admonishes us, "You believe there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble! (James 2:19). "But do you want to know O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?" (James 2:20.) Faith is WORK at studying the bible and prayer so that you may learn how to form your own personal relationship with the LORD. So many of us only know him through the preacher. We have to ask the preacher to pray for us. So many of us NEVER study for ourselves. We think going to church once a week and maybe one evening of an hour's bible study is enough. It's not. Once you become serious in your studying and LEARN how to be obedient to his word, your prayers will go beyond the ceiling. Jesus himself said, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:7). How can his words ABIDE in you if you don't know what they are? Once a week doesn't get it. And then you criticize Him for not answering your prayers. HE is not Santa Claus.

Gemma Ward to Quit Modeling Over Weight Gain Attacks {Stylelist}

Nov 11th 2009 12:00AM Could there be a plot afoot to blur the line separating the male and female body? There are those in some quarters that question the agenda of those in the fashion industry that get to decide which female body shapes look better in clothes. There are some who question whether there's a plot in the fashion industry to stigmatize the curves of the female body in an effort to level the playing field when determining what makes an attractive, sexy body to the opposite sex. The soft, round, curvy body of the female, or the non-curvy body of the male? If there is no physical, bodily distinction, there is no competition between genders. I'm just sayin'...that's the spin some are putting on this stigma against female curves.

Gemma Ward to Quit Modeling Over Weight Gain Attacks {Stylelist}

Nov 10th 2009 11:38PM Gemma should not give up modeling. She is NOT fat! Society has gotten it TWISTED. Curvaceous does NOT mean FAT. Designers need to get the message that the average size woman is not a size O. The outfit she is wearing on the street in the photo that appears in this article is obviously something she quickly threw on probably to just run out to the store. We can't really get a good look at her size -- only that she is NOT fat in the photo. She looks anorexic in the catwalk photo that appears on the same page.

It is not natural, nor healthy, for women to be razor-thin as designers demand of the catwalk models. Designers think that if a model is not bony it will detract from the garment, that people will not pay attention to the details of the GARMENT but only to the curvaceousness of the model. But, on the street, people will be paying attention to the "whole package": the garment and how well it looks on the person. So, why shouldn't a woman on the catwalk represent the average size woman? As long as the woman's body is properly proportioned and toned she should be allowed on the catwalk. Real life women are SUPPOSED to be curvaceous which does not mean FAT, as it's being interpreted to mean by the fashion industry. Stay in the game Gemma if that is your passion.

The 39 House Democrats who Voted Against Their Party's Health Care Bill {Politics Daily}

Nov 8th 2009 5:25PM I listen to them out of curiosity, which is why I know its all hype to support the insurance industry. They exploit your darkest fears, fears that are unsupported by the facts. They even make up stuff to frighten you, like pulling the plug on grandma. What sane person would not want to be able to discuss end of life treatment while they still can, without having to pay for it? And lots of other hype they feed their listeners that's too numerous to go into here. But, do yourself a favor, go online, read the bill and also, listen to MSNBC and get the REAL facts for a change. You won't regret it. But then you might, if you're a hater.

The 39 House Democrats who Voted Against Their Party's Health Care Bill {Politics Daily}

Nov 8th 2009 5:14PM You're blaming President Obama and the Democrats for your job loss? This administration has only been in power 9 months. Bush had already started that steamroller that took away jobs and rolled us into the ditch of the Great Depression -- only no one was calling it that. President Obama and his administration came to power and hit the ground running to stop the steamroller. They have slowed it down so that the economy is rebounding and many jobs were saved that would have been lost if not for their quick action: teachers, nurses, policemen; infrastructure. But, you can't expect him to clean up the trillion dollar war expense mess in 9 months that it took Bush 8 years to create. I feel for you but your blame is misplaced.
