May 24th 2010 10:50AM I personally don't think that the ear cropping has much to do with ear infections.. otherwise they'd be hacking at spaniels ears too! I had a spaniel when i was a kid, she never got ear infections, and the dog i have now has huge floppy ears. At almost 4 years old, she's never had even one. IMHO, all the cropping and docking came from the AKC and some idiots idea of they thought a dog should have looked like. To make them look "tougher" (i.e. doberman - those guys are soooo cute with natural ears - crop them and i'd prefer to run away)

May 24th 2010 10:40AM Screw breed standards! Breed standards came about from some hoity toity jacknut who thought he had a better idea than its creator of how an animal should have been built. (if this were the case we'd be living in space by now) SO many purebreds came about from the same thought pattern... "let's mix this pup and that pup ... and then a little bit of that one with the babies ... when we get them looking like we want we'll call it perfect" I don't ever want anything more than my sheperd/hound mutt... and if anyone ever suggested docking that long, obnoxious, accident prone tail of hers ... you might want to start running ;)

Mar 11th 2010 6:55PM I hate to tell you all .. I had a cavaty filled at the baltimore school of dentistry and i'll never do it again. They make you sign a waver that anything that ends up wrong is not their fault due to the fact that you know it is the students doing the work. But, apparently it still holds when the student has never done it before and the TEACHER is doing the filling wrong to show the student. That's what happened to me ... I was in pain for 3 weeks, I couldnt even use mouthwash on that side of my mouth. They would not give me a rush appointment, and by the time they did see me the pain was gone. I missed that appointment, I don't remember why, but I didn't know that I couldnt go until the morning of ... and they charged me for not giving 24 hours notice. SO... in short ... they screwed up ... did not have provisions for being seen in an emergancy caused by the person teaching our newest dentists... and they will charge you extra for having normal life things happen that keep you from getting there. Screw that ... get a real dentist and make sure they weren't taught by idiot teachers that leave nerves partially exposed and metal fillings directly on what was covered.

The funniest part ... go to downtown baltimore... where white people are totally outnumbered.Guess what you'll see in the bars? "check your leathers check your colors check your iron" "NO colors guns gangs or clubs" ITS EVERYWHERE. and its for your SAFETY lol.... but hey .. bring the signs down and see how they all like it then :)

This includes the guy that thought his two year old couldn't reach the door handle, the kid that took off, AND the morons who need to pick things apart to boost their own lacking egos. Unfortunatly, the puppy is technically a stupid animal, but not for this instance, because it's a PUPPY. Not even grown yet, still stayed by the side of it's person. These things are what makes me respect animals more than humans at times.

Screw those tyrant men who cant handle that a woman can hold her own. Oh wait, now I tend to forget that "men" like that are really just insecure little boys, nothing manly about them. Screw all who think that after having children, a womans body will still be the same. If you don't want that to happen, go get your own sh** snipped! If your too much a tough guy to understand that in a living together relationship, everything is fair game, and goes both ways. If this is how a man feels a woman should be treated he has no business knowing a woman at all. I'm sorry to all the ladies that have posted in venting about these things.

Dec 16th 2008 9:57PM I used to live in a 5 bedroom house with 4 others. One of the guys (a major alchoholic)didn't get along with my boyfriend, and even said "he will not be in this house again". (At least i mailed my part of the rent) Anyway, that night i came home to find him passed out in my bed waiting to see if i was going to bring my boyfriend home with me. Luckily for him i didn't, i'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been fast enough to get up before my guy kicked his a**.
