Jan 10th 2010 11:07AM Perhaps its time for all of us to go back to the "old fashioned" way of making purchases.....by using cash, at least for those purchases that are made locally. The banks have control of us and now it's time for us, the consumers, to take back control of our money. I'm not saying to stuff your savings in your mattress but if enough of us begin using cash again, maybe the banks will get the picture.
