Dean Smith's Family Confirms Coach's Struggle With Memory Loss {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}

Jul 18th 2010 9:32PM I am proud to say that I know the man. I have never evr met anyone like Coach and I will probably never meet anyone like him again. He is still a caring and incredible human being. Having spoken with him in recent months, I can safely say Coach is still with us and remains a great part of the University of North Carolina and those who are fans and supporters.

Monkey, Robot Heading to Mars {Asylum}

Dec 26th 2009 4:29PM Well Bully for your sympathy for the monkey. Would you rather a human was sent instead? Exploration and medical research rely onlesser primates for testing to insure that a human will be safe or a drug will be effective for a human. Where would we be today if scientists had your concerns for test animals. PETA aside...get over it; unless you want to be a test subject instead of the monkey.

Blockbuster Heading for the Dustbins of History? {Switched}

Nov 7th 2007 8:05PM If my memory serves me correctly, having been in the video entertainment industry in some form or another from 1979 until this year; this story mimics what BB had to say, not that long ago, about the Independant Video Retailer when BB had its big foot on the neck of the independant store owners. It's nice to see the bastards getting their taste of the great Karma Wheel for a change. Is anyone interested in a movie about a ship that was thought to be unsinkable...

Secret WWII Nuclear City Now Open to Tourists {Gadling}

Aug 15th 2007 2:10AM To Rick: You said, "This is a very nice town. The U.S. Dept. of Energy is located here. The place is clean and practically crime free." There is a reason your town is 'practically crime free'. It is fact that most crimes are committed after dark. Rick, just think about this for a moment: It gets dark in Oak Ridge when the sun goes down just like any town in America, but if you glow in the dark it's quite hard to commit any type of crime at night...Rick, Rick; were you listening?

Secret WWII Nuclear City Now Open to Tourists {Gadling}

Aug 15th 2007 1:07AM The heck with Oak Ridge and the Uranium Plant...I'd like to take a tour through the caverns in the brain of George Bush and see the large gaping hole in his Cranium Plant
