What's Your Favorite Christopher Walken Performance? {Cinematical}

Mar 31st 2010 5:56PM One of my recent favorite roles by the great (and often misunderstood as "scary") Christopher Walken was as Roger, in THE MAIDEN HEIST. He plays a museum security guard who has fallen in love with a piece of art that he has guarded for many years, and along with his fellow guards Charles & George (played wonderfully by Morgan Freeman & William H. Macy respectively), they make plans to steal all of their favorite pieces from the museum befre the new curator takes over & their masterpieces are moved elsewhere.

Quite comical & shows how well an actors range can go: fummy & comedic to straight-faced & dowright serious/dramatic.

KUDOS TO YOU MR. WALKEN & HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Marge Simpson Posing Nude for Playboy... Seriously! {PopEater}

Oct 10th 2009 4:48AM I don't think I'd pick up that issue at all. If I wanted to see Marge Simpson in the buff, I'll just ask my pal for the website he's visited. I think it's "Rule34" or something like that... I dunno. big whoop-dee-friggin' doo!!

Oct 8th 2009 4:21PM unfortunately Mary, you forgot to leave out the irritating, pointless, pain-in-the-butt automated Spam website generators too... other than that, I totally agree with you.

How to save money on video games this holiday season {WalletPop}

Nov 11th 2008 8:03PM Gamestop & FuncoLand also sometimes have a "BUY 2/GET 1 FREE" deal... but gotta be careful with that... might end up going into MORE debt if you find a good haul in the messy bins, LOL.

Cartoon bunny attempts suicide, real-life children follow suit {ParentDish}

Sep 13th 2008 12:16AM THE BLAME SHOULD BE PUT ON THE PARENT/GUARDIAN(S)!! Why do I say that? Well, I was about 7 or 8 when my mother & Grandmother when to the video store to rent "FELIX the Cat" for me afterschool. Somehow they ended up with "FRITZ the Cat" instead. Thankfully they viewed it before I got the chance to. IF anyone has seen that then you KNOW what I'm getting at. They soon returned it & explained that it's not meant for kids & got an exchange. Upon return of "Felix" they noticed & saw that "Fritz" was back in the CHILDREN's section of videos. They took it up to the counter & explained to the clerk that it was in the wrong section. They said they would take care of it. Well, the next return trip it was back in the KIDS section AGAIN!!! So appreantly someone just ASSUMED it was for kids just because it was a CARTOON!!! I finally saw "FRITZ" in 10th grade from a friend, and I'm glad my mother & grandmother took responsibility & didn't just let me watch that at 7 years of age, because I'd be REALLY messed up for life.

Study of Studies Shows No Link Between Video Games and Violence {Switched}

Nov 27th 2007 10:42PM I agree with JOE, CHRIS and KRISSTINA. ONE, Jayne should look at HERSELF & blame HERSELF for her kids actions. TWO, yes, I too such as JOE & CHRIS, both grew up on Looney Tunes as well as find/found a release for my tensions & anger in violent video games. PLUS, my mother and my grandmother were involved in looking out for me (more on that a bit later).

If EVER had/have another bad day, or just am upset at something, all I need to do is boot up my cheat device for my games, put "Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction" in my PS2 and then go after the enemies, and just have a field day killing them off. Even when I played "True Crime: Streets of L.A.", I'd run over pedestrians, cause riots.. whatever I felt like doing. But afte each game, my tension would be gone & I'd feel better.

NOW, as far as my mother & grandmother are concerned, I think they helped protect me from something that may very well have damaged me. They went to the video store to go rent FELIX THE CAT for me to watch after homework, back when I was about 6 or 7. Somehow, they ended up renting FRITZ THE CAT by mistake. They put the VHS tape in a began to watch it, and as soon as they watch what they did (X-Rated animal behavior) they took it back IMMEDIATELY. returned it, got a different movie & complained, and the next time they went in, FRITZ was back in the childrens section!! Apparently someone just wasn't doing their job properly because it kept showing up there. Finally in highschool I got to see it by way of a friend, and THANKFULLY my mother & grandma did a good job of previewing it, because I might've neded up a lot worse>

40 Things You Might Not Know About Superman {Cinematical}

Jun 29th 2006 10:59PM I saw that documentary & it was quite interesting. But Add this as an extra thing or trivia of something not easily known about "Superman": (**WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER**) The 'code name' that Bryan Singer called the movie "Red Sun" also relates to Kal-El's origins too. On his home planet of Krypton, they only had a red sun shining light upon it. The red sun hindered the "superpowers" of the Kryptonians. That's why our yellow sun gives Supes his powers.

T4 is Ready and Waiting {Cinematical}

Mar 28th 2006 5:06PM I think that "Ah-nuld" should be considered for "T4".. everybody knows he was/is better in movies than in politics. Personally I would've chose either Gary Coleman or that por star just for the humor in it all; for me & Jay Leno or David Letterman. But, back to the main subject: "Terminator" sequel. I would *LOVE* it if they (writers, studio execs, etc.) would get Kristanna Loken back as the NEW Terminator. Sure, it's basically re-hashing the same format & plot parts as "T2" where the bad guy from the 1st movie is now the good guy (or in this case, bad/good girl). Besides, think about this (but not in too much detail): Ms. Loken is a young, sexy, beautiful & attractive young actress, and would look great exiting that "time bubble" thing. Mr. "Guvuhnatuh" is a bit too old & just *yecch* for the exit scene(s) from his "time bubble". She doesn't even really have to be the "T-X", she could be more like the prototype for it. Maybe possibly a female version of a T-1000, like Robert Patrick in "T2". For this T-1000, have a little more fun with the character. She could have a slight "glitch" like a bit of a child-like mentality where she goofs off from time to time. Anyways, I just hope it stays with the format & has a good plot that works... makes you cling to the edge of your seat..like the first 2 movies, or else I'll just wait until it's on DVD.
