Is Justin Bieber Poised to Be the Next King of Pop? {AOL Music Blog}
Apr 9th 2011 9:13PM It's insulting that people would even compare someone like Justin to a legend like MJ. This little boy would be lucky to even get somewhat close to the amazingness Michaels' career and talent was.
Women Under 30 Losing 'Lady Skills' Like Cooking and Cleaning {MyDaily}
Feb 8th 2011 9:09AM I HATE cooking. Never liked it, never will. Right now I just do it as a necessity to live and because I don't want to live on fast food. Also don't like being confined to the kitchen for long amounts of time. My philosophy with cooking is if it takes more than 30 minutes, then I don't feel like making it (unless it's something I can just throw in the oven and go do something else). I also grew up in a house where my dad cooked a lot of the meals. He is a fantastic cook and learned his skills from my grandmother. My mom didn't cook nearly as often, but she is the one that does all the laundry. So I guess it's a trade off.
I really don't feel bad at all about not really having these "lady skills", and any guy I get with, I let them know from the start that I don't like cooking or cleaning. So if they're looking for a woman to take care of them in those areas, they need to look elsewhere. It's attractive if a guy can cook and clean for himself and isn't scared to split the tasks with his SO.
Our Bloggers Get Much-Needed Fashion Advice {Asylum}
Nov 28th 2010 3:51AM So true. It's really sad how a lot of guys dress these day over here. I've been really noticing it over the last few years. And it bothers me more and more. Is it so hard for men to give a crap about wearing clothing that fit and actually flatters them, and on a daily basis. Not just for when they're going out.
Buried under student loan debt: One post-grad's story {WalletPop}
Aug 31st 2010 12:24PM I really enjoyed this article. Thank you for sharing your story.
But man I wish I was in debt for only $39,000. They've got me for $72,000 with majority of it being in private loans (got it a bit lower now to around $69,000 after about 2 years of paying). I'm not in default, but I'm scared about my future. My payments are more than 50% of my monthly income and I can't even afford to live on my own. I stay with my parents just so I'm not working poor. Throw in a degree in a highly competitive field that doesn't even guarantee you stable work all year round, and I'm pretty much screwed. I had also wanted to try my hand at living in another country for awhile, but that dream has to go right out the window because I wouldn't be able to afford it with my loan payments.
I really wish I had been smarter about this loan business and not blindly followed my adviser. I would have avoided those private loans like the plague, and started making small payments while I was still in school.
I don't even know if college is even worth it for all this debt.
Testing the Over-the-Top Hat Trend in New York City {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 30th 2010 2:27PM I like that hat (not so much with the outfit though). I really enjoy it when I see people stray outside the 'what normal people wear' box and try something different. I wear a very different/not seen that often style a few times a month when I'm going out (it's a style from Japan), and the stares are abundant. People just need to get over what society thinks people should wear and embrace it when someone wants to try something different instead of looking like everyone else.

Real 'Paranormal Activity' Reactions: New Movie Seriously Haunting Fans {Moviefone Blog}
Oct 22nd 2009 12:07PM I was this movie last week, and it really didn't scare me at all. I was thinking I would be terrified, but it just didn't do it. Been still sleeping like a baby since. I guess I'm one of the few freaks that didn't think the movie was that scary.
Staying in a hotel? Bring your own drinking glasses {Gadling}
Dec 15th 2007 12:37AM When I was a child I loved staying in hotel rooms. I liked it more than staying in my own room. Then I saw a special about how clean is your hotel room on 20/20 and I was horrified. There was human waste and other liquids from a body everywhere and in most of the hotels, even high priced ones. I have never liked staying in them since.
It also doesn't help that when I went to a Holiday Inn a few years ago the glasses still had lipstick on them. We had the hotel send maids down to re-clean the entire room in front of us.
I won't even sit on the toliet seats in hotels anymore, and if I'm only there for a day I completetly skip the shower because I don't like going into the bathrooms. I always check to make sure the sheets are clean and will now start taking my own bedding and disposable gloves.
