Sex offender or not, there's nothing wrong with just talking to anybody. If he touched her, then yes, he deserved to get beaten, but just for talking? There's something very wrong with that.

Aug 21st 2007 6:12AM 21 should be the age of consent. If you're so in love that you want to get married when you're 18, you should still be so in love that you want to get married when you're 21. I thought that way when I was 18, and I still think that way now, at age 30.

Also, it should be mandatory for people of all ages to attend marriage counseling prior to getting married, and be engaged for at least 12 months prior to getting married. My mom has been married 5 times. The fourth time was after only being engaged for 2 months, to a guy that ended up abusing me and my two sisters. I don't want to see that happen to anyone else.

Think about how quickly the divorce rate would drop is this was the law.
