GQ Editor on 'Glee' Photo Shoot: 'They're Old Enough to Do What They Want' {PopEater}

Oct 21st 2010 11:13AM Joanne and Chelsea .........you are so right about there being more women out there that would be better role models for our young girls/young women to be looking at for more substance in their lives! Young and old women alike, who are engineers, teachers, scientists, nurses, CEOs, etc. If you look at the plot of Glee, Dianna Argon's character GOT KNOCKED UP IN HIGH SCHOOL. It's a TV show, not a damn girl scout meeting!!!
As the old saying goes...........In my humble opinion, me thinks we are "preaching to the choir"!!! ....KarenB

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar Walk Off 'View' Set While Talking to Bill O'Reilly {PopEater}

Oct 14th 2010 3:24PM My head is so full of the horrible accusations(sp?) of who killed/kills who.......etc. etc. etc. That I keep thinking of what Rodney King said so long ago, during some race riots that took place at that time...."Can't we all just get along"? Those are still my sentiments. I find myself sick to my stomach at the ugly interactions which take place because of one's religous beliefs!! WHY "Can't we all just get along"? IT IS NOT WHO WE ARE....IT IS WHAT WE DO WHEN WE ACT THE WAY WE DO, that makes us who we are!!!...KJB

Can Money Buy Happiness? It Depends How You Define 'Happiness' {Asylum}

Jul 2nd 2010 11:03AM I can't remember either, David, But, I can't really say which way I would lean. I don't like being unhappy!!!! And, we all know that, in most cases, money cannot ALWAYS make you happy. Sometimes, it is the money that gets in the way of one being truly happy!!!! Think about it..........KarenKJB

Can Money Buy Happiness? It Depends How You Define 'Happiness' {Asylum}

Jul 1st 2010 8:48PM I offer you my response to whether or not money can buy happiness. I would say.........if one's heart is in the
right place, it can INDEED buy happiness. Being able to
help others through hard times and difficulties, is part of being able to do just that. And, because of generousity,
it can even spread the happiness to others. Having said
that, I have to also say that there are some people who will never be truly happy, regardless of what they have or don't have. True happiness really does come from one's heart! So,
go out and do something that touches another person's heart! The 'pay back' is priceless!! Kindness is also something that is totally under rated. It, too, is a 2-way street for the giver as well as the person receiving whatever the gift may
be. If you haven't done it yet, try it. Giving to others is truly amazing. So simple, even a few kind words can show how giving of one's self, can make them warm and fuzzy inside, wanting to spread the warmth and see the greatful smiles in return. And, you know what? It doesn't have to be any HUGE token of kindness. Just letting the recipient know that they are valued enough, to receive your act of kindess, is all it takes. At least, in my humble opinion, KarenKJB ...P.S. Try it, you might find yourself totally blown away by how good it makes you feel!

Six Surprising Six-Figure Jobs: No Degree Required {AOL Jobs}

Jun 27th 2010 11:26PM Well, to be honest, I have, TOTALLY, been 'scared' away from this type of work. Looks like it could be complication with a HUGE 'C'! As well as take up a HUGE amount of one's time, even outside the court room! The responsibility of whatever may cross the court docket, could become a HUGE, MESSY, DEMANDING problem. I, for one, shall be looking elsewhere!

Good luck, you ALL, it isn't that easy to get something that easy, these days, that will have one 'hanging in there' for a long enough time to suit a decent (in all ways) lifestyle! I wish it didn't take so long to write books, If it didn't, I would be quite happy to go back to writing! Ahhhhhh 'Wishful thinking' on my part...... May we all have a wee bit of the Irish in us, and be able to have it touch all our endeavors, whatever they may be, with their delightful(AND LUCKY) blessings! With that thought...Be see'en ya around, KarenKJB

Six Surprising Six-Figure Jobs: No Degree Required {AOL Jobs}

Jun 27th 2010 11:10PM I agree with you, M, about the article being misleading. In most cases, I have found if it 'is too good to be true' it is, more than likely, not being true! I, also, know there is more to that kind of work than it appears. One needs to know EXACTLY what they are getting into, when they approach work of this type. IMPO ;->, KarenKJB

Six Surprising Six-Figure Jobs: No Degree Required {AOL Jobs}

Jun 27th 2010 11:03PM I found the court reporting very interesting. I am wondering, though, if it would get quite tiresome. There is a lot of listening, which can wear one out. If you don't have the stamina it takes to 'stay with it' with such demand in that kind of work, I would think it would show very early in your employment of the damands it puts on those who know. Just a though, KarenKJB

Paula Impersonates 'Idol' Rival Ellen {PopEater}

Sep 18th 2009 10:46AM
This section of this particular site, says to keep what we have to say 'CLASSY' Paula was everything but 'CLASSY" in her Diva show. Her comments about and to Ellen were SO W/O class!

I am sure Ellen took it in the best way possible, as she always does! Cause, she, unlike Paula, has a ton of class and shows it in everything she does. She is kind, generous, funny, compassionate, and giving. Shame on you, Paula........you made your bed and you need to lie in it! KarenKJB

Ellen DeGeneres Replacing Paula Abdul as New 'American Idol' Judge {Inside TV Blog}

Sep 10th 2009 9:46AM
Dadu............SHAME ON YOU! Your posting that remark says a great deal about the kind of person you are. And, you know what? None of it is very good!!! Get a clue and 'play nice' Slurs like you made have a way of biting the person, who makes them, in the butt! In case you don't understand what that means....it means that it shows the kind of person you are. And, using slurs like that, says, out loud, that you are not a very nice person! So, take a good look in the mirror and think about it!!! Play nice! You might be pleasantly surprised at how many more people might like you!!!! KarenKJB
