It's now decades in the future from that point in time and we have learned many, many lessons since then.

It seems to me that no matter what new rescources anyone comes to the table with there are those who oppose them. Drilling for oil in Alaska, new oil off our coasts, nuclear power, etc. In Michigan where I'm from people opose puting windmills out in Lake Michigan. It's always something.

It just seems to me that nuclear power is clean, safe and will never run out. People, almost all of our Navy's ships are nuclear! Let's get with the program and do SOMETHING to help alleviate ourselves from foriegn oil.

Jun 13th 2009 2:32AM I see it as a liberal "thing" to want to get rid of these wonderful movies. I have seen them several times and find that the lessons learned far outweigh the crying that is bound to happen when a child sees them. You've got to understand something about liberals...........they want to force their opinions about life upon everone. Weather it be about smoking in public, everyone having to go "green", the planet Earth dying because of mankind when in actuality it's a natural cycle we are going through, not to use too much paper which is a totally renewable resource, or even the size of one's car, they just can't help but want to make laws for everyone to have to obey because of their missguided opinions. The way I see it is if you want to do these things yourself, go ahead, do them. Just leave me out of it to make a decision for MYSELF. I don't need a law to tell me what's right or wrong. I don't need a law to make me wear a seatbelt. I know I should be wearing one and that should be enough. I do not need a liberal to try and pass laws to control me. I will control myself. Thank you very much.
