Mother of Down Syndrome Boy Helping Son Find Sex {Lemondrop}

Mar 19th 2009 11:53PM At least she's helping her son live a normal life. I don't think one should be kept from being a fulfilled person just because they have Downs' Syndrome. I'm pretty sure the ones who are expected to contribute as much as they can to society will do it and can be successful. It's the same concept with "normal" people. If you don't have standards for your children, what do you expect them to amount to? If this guy has the drive to be like "everyone else," then why should he be stopped?

Obama Finger Food, With Curry Sauce and a Side of Racism {Blackvoices Main}

Mar 19th 2009 11:48PM You guys do realize that Germans don't giggle when they see black people eating fried chicken and watermelon, right? I don't even see how this is a racist product... it's a box of frozen chicken with curry dip...mmmm, curry. I'm not a fan of the deep fried meats(eewwwww), but I would order a box for dinner. It would probably be a lot more substantial than the crap that's sold here. Some countries have proper regulations for food.

The Hamster Did It! {Lemondrop}

Feb 4th 2009 2:13PM Magold, it's counterproductive to cover up the picture and name of a missing person. Know one would be able to report on possible whereabouts if they didn't know who they were looking for.

Parents Sue School in Nude Cheerleader Photo Scandal {Switched.com}

Dec 10th 2008 1:07AM Do the parents realize that if this was turned into a child-pornography issue, their daughters would be tried for taking and distributing the pictures? They would obviously be found guilty of that, incarcerated, and then be forced to register as sex offenders. I would actually like to see that happen, but I'm sure someone would claim they were a victim of an oversexualized society and an unbelievably sympathetic jury would acquit them. I would definitely love to see this go to trial just to teach these young women and their parents a lesson.

Obama is a bad word at some Mississippi schools {ParentDish}

Randoms:
I am actually a Kenyan and I hate how Americans love to attach the term "African-American" to "black Americans"(who by the way, are just Americans. What idiot refers to people as "white Americans?)" when their last African ancestors legally(remember 1808) arrived in the country 200 years ago, but I was actually glad to have it used to describe Barack Obama because he is actually an African-American, so is Tom Morello, for that matter... and Kenyan. My future children will most likely be African American. It might actually be cool to be of Kenyan ancestry. Haha.

I have never had problems with caucasians before, but I think older caucasian women are a bit scared of me. Mind you, I am the epitome of all things timid: small, quiet, nerdy. If you are afraid of me, I really have no idea what to tell you because I just think you're a donkey.

People that make assumptions about others because of color really bother me. Why not get to know individuals so you don't have to assume?

Would it really matter if Obama was a Muslim? I have a problem with him being a muslin because we're at a scary point in science if women are birthing cotton, but I don't concern myself with religious beliefs.

I think too much power has been given to the government.

Obama is a bad word at some Mississippi schools {ParentDish}

Nov 10th 2008 2:22AM You are amazing! I must agree with you. I don't see the harm of mentioning a name. If saying "Obama" is banned, then shouldn't "Hitler" be banned too? In fact, shouldn't the names of all leaders in general be banned?

Toby Keith Admits Surprising Grooming Habit {The Boot}

Nov 10th 2008 1:56AM As long as we're correcting one another, it's "prerogative." Mispronouncing a word doesn't give one the excuse to misspell also.

Scientists Baffled by Big-Girl Booty News {Lemondrop}

Nov 3rd 2008 6:25PM Has everyone forgotten about "average-sized" and small women who aren't necessarily thin? I'm a size 4 at around 120 lbs and 5'2", so to call me "skinny" would definitely be a joke, but there's no way I'd even be considered chubby. Am I not having random guys hit on me(everybody needs to feel attractive once in a great while, lol) because I don't fit into either extreme? I'm definitely not ugly, but I could pass for a high school girl(I'm 20), so there's probably that jailbait fear.
I don't know what to make of this study though. I'm in a relationship, so there would be regular sex if my boyfriend wasn't in Iraq, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be into me if I was fat, a "BBW," etc. I wouldn't blame him though because I'm not into fat guys. I don't think it's shallow because people do tend to be in relationships with similar people. Therefore, it makes sense that if there are a a lot more bigger men than there are fit men, and the same goes for the women, then they will statistically have more sex than fit people.
Funny how people talk about curves as if only big women have them... Scarlett Johansson has curves and she's my size. Maybe I look thinner because I'm black... It's slimming...
