How a Meme Is Started In Real Life - One Man Starts a Dance Party {Urlesque}
Jun 5th 2009 11:09AM This is a great find and post. I was going to ask if anyone was crushed to death after the mob took over but, you know, that would be dark and disturbing and not representative of how powerful and inspiring the message here is. I love it.

Dimensions of Relevance {Control Shift Blog}
Oct 3rd 2008 8:56PM A very thought provoking post and I agree with your breakdown. Pole-vaulting past physical geography I think that the human mindset will start to play more a part (let's say INTERNAL geography). What I mean is that machines (through a ring, a wristwatch, etc.) will be able to read your "receptivity" and deliver the right experiences based on your mood or an anticipation of your needs based on your mental state.
Please consider this as I go and recharge the flying car out in the garage. ;-)

Jul 21st 2008 11:53AM You called Conan a "classic" movie. Uhhhh.... being old does not make something a classic. Conan was terrible.
A natural history of the "Cards on the Table" module {Control Shift Blog}
Jun 19th 2008 11:20PM We go back and forth on this one even to this day. The rationale was so that programmers were not always tied to having to create three more promos if the buttons were clicked. That translates into three photo searches and cuts as well as time to write the copy. (time = money). Another aspect was about performance. Loading one photo at a time vs. three more. In our next pass we're going to experiment with trying it as loading three more at a time and remain vigilant around the performance impacts. We're open to experiment with it.
wall-painted animation by BLU {Control Shift Blog}
May 15th 2008 8:53PM OK, it has been a few minutes and my head has stopped hurting a bit. This work should win an Oscar in my view. It is not often the medium of 2-D animation gets re-invented like this. That said, it is a bit overlong. But then how do you edit a moment out of it considering the sweat and toil of producing it? In the end, the "experience" of watching this clip in my kitchen made this day memorable. Thanks.
