Why is nearly EVERY comment almost a re-type of the one above it?? There does not seem to be very much difference in them being

I am an elderly lady. When I went to school and a young girl got pregnant
there was SHAME ON HER!!! Now days it is the excepted norm. To me the
boys have as much responsibility as the girl !

At that age BOYS as well as GIRLS are going through a very grown up
process of body changes!!

If parents were not so busy buying booze and drugs for themselves they might
have a clear enough mind to take time and sit down with the child and TALK!!

There are a number of good books out discussing this matter. The girls especiallly when they go to their doctor should sit down with the girl and her parent and explain what happpens to your body. Kids now days are more resilient and can comprehend things alot more.

ALL RIGHT DADS!! Here is your job as a parent!! Talk with that son !
Dollars to donuts he will eventuly appreciate the fact that YOU cared enough
about him to help him gather "THE FACTS".

The situtation being what it is nowdays the kids should have a SEX EDUCATION CLASS IN SCHOOL !! I'm not sure wheather co-ed or
not. If it is separate they might be more likely to gather some of the
information.

In either case there should be showed a VCR or at least a large
posture naming the parts of the bodies. Maybe each child also given an individual sheet to EACH STUDENT to write the names of the parts of the body. Hands on seems to help, but it WILL NOT SOLVE THE MATTER.
The basic thing is PARENTS, BECOME PARENTS!! That's what you are
there for!! The child's BEST TEACHER IS HIS PARENTS !!! THE
SCHOOL SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO IT!! They are there for academics,
NOT THE FACTS OF LIFE.

I did not have a good wedding night because all I knew was what I had
heard in the girls bathroom. I was 26 years old at the time.

PARENTS, DO NOT BE ASHAMED TO SIT DOWN WITH YOUR CHILD
AND DISCUSS THE "BIRDS AND THE BEES".

Include in the discussion the facts of what the reprecussions of unprotected sex are. How that one moment of passion can affect SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. NOT JUST ONE PERSON !

THE BOTTOM LINE IS: PARENTS START BEING PARENTS!! YOU ARE
YOUR CHILD'S BEST TEACHER ! SET A CORRECT EXAMPLE FOR THEM AT HOME !!

I HAVE NOTICED A BIG CHANGE IN WALMART AS WELL AS
SOME OF THE OTHER RETAILERS IN THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. I KNOW MY GROCERY BILL KEEPS GETTING HIGHER,
AND I KEEP HAVING TO CUT OFF ITEMS -- I DID NOT GET A
COLA (COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT EITHER LAST YEAR OR THIS YEAR. I AM HAVING TO LIVE ON HIGHER PRICES WITH THE AMOUONT OF INCOME I RECEIVED TWO YEARS AGO. I AM DISABLED AND HOUSE BOUND.

IT IS PURE PATHETIC TO SEE THESE STATES NEARING BANK RUPTCY!!

IT DID NOT TAKE A MORON TO SEE THIS RECESSION COMING 8(EIGHT) YEARS AGO!!. tHAT POLITICAL PARTY
SLOGAN IS "THE RICH GET RICHER, AND THE POOR GET POORER."
PEOPLE DID NOT THINK ABOUT THE MORTGAGES THAT
WOULD GO UP UP AFTER SO MANY YEARS.

THERE IS MORE CORRUPTION AND "EMBELZEMENT" OF MONEY NOW DAYS!! AS THE MONEY CAME DOWN FOR DIFFERENT THINGS, THERE WERE MORE AND MORE POCKETS FILLED FROM THE TILL! THE ACTUAL MONEY ALLOCATED NEVER, NEVER, REACHES THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT WAS INTENDED.

ALSO VOLUNTEER IN SOMETHING! THERE ARE NUMBERS OF OPPORTUNITY THERE!!

Oct 9th 2010 11:23PM I APPRECIATE YOUR COLUMN ON DEPRESSION. IN 2001 I SPENT TWO WEEKS IN LOCK UP. IT WASN'T BAD, BUT IF ANYONE HEARS THAT THEY
HAVE AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT OPINION OF YOU.

DEPRESSION IS AN ILLNESS, THE SAME AS CANCER, OR ANYTHING ELSE.
PEOPLE ARE NOT YET READY TO ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE A PERSON AND
YOU WENT IN TO SEEK HELP. THE SONG "PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE" IS SO
TRUE.

I HAVE TWO CHRONIC ILLNESS AND ALL THE LITTLE THINGS THAT GO ALONG WITH THEM. I TOOK PREDISONE AND CIPRO IN 2001 AND ENDED
UP IN LOCK-UP WITH CLINICAL DEPRESSION. I AM HOUSE BOUND, AND DEPEND ON OTHER PEOPLE TO DO THINGS FOR ME. AS YOU STATED THERE IS NO ONE THAT REALLY KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH AND HOW YOU FEEL. THERE ARE NOT WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE INNER FEELINGS AND ANXIETY THAT GOES WITH THIS ILLNESS.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF DEPRESSION. NOT ALL OF THEM ARE
THE SAME. WITH HELP YOU CAN LEARN TO LIVE AND DEAL WITH IT IN MOST CASES. YOU STILL ARE VERY MUCH A PERSON. MOST OF US STILL
HAVE OUR OWN MINDS AND CAN KNOW WHAT WE WANT.

Caretaking Cat Saves Lives at Animal Clinic {Pawnation OLD}

Aug 27th 2010 6:28PM I CRINGE WHEN I HEAR SOMEONE SAY CATS & DOGS ARE "DUMB ANIMALS".
THEY HAVE MORE "COMMON SENSE" THAN SOME OF THEIR OWNERS DO!!

I AM DISABLED AND HOME BOUND. I HAVE FIVE BLACK CATS. THEY KNOW WHEN I AM NOT FEELING GOOD, AND THEY "TALK" IF YOU WILL JUST WATCH THEM. THEY TELL ME WHEN IT'S TIME TO GO TO BED AT NIGHT.

I LOVE PUPPY DOGS, BUT DUE TO INSTABILITY IN WALKING I GO WITH MY CATS. I MAKE SURE THEY HAVE FRESH FOOD, WATER, AND LITER
DOWN AND I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM.

WHEN ALL FIVE DECIDE TO SLEEP ON THE BED WITH ME, THE BED IS FULL!! THEY EACH KNOW WHERE THEIR SPOT IS.

THEY EACH WILL HELP TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER. THEY BATH AND WASH EACH OTHER.

AS I STATED I LOVE PUPPY DOGS,,(HAD A 98 LB. GERMAN SHEPHERD
ONE TIME) BUT I HAVE TO GO WITH MY CATS.

I DID SOME FOSTER CARE ONE TIME UNTIL MY HEALTH GOT WHERE
I COULD NOT HANDLE THAT MANY.

NOT EVERYBODY IS AN ANIMAL LOVER, AND THAT IS ALL RIGHT,
JUST DON'T MISTREAT AN ANIMAL.
