I don't think that the Mother and Father would have been upset if the State had come in with the intention of helping this couple acheive a safe, happy and healthy relationship for all involved. The travesty here is that the state took the child away from the Mother and Father before the proper bonding could occur and they weren't even allowed visitation! That is beyond heinous... a serious violation of their civil rights.

Yes... immediate action should have been taken. And even if the State had STILL found the parents incapable of taking care of the baby on their own until proper corrections in the home or training was to occur... they should have had daily access to this child.
