Feb 25th 2011 1:48PM Even the old saw that there's no such thing as "bad" publicity gets worn-out when you keep pushing against the tide. When people (as in your viewers) get to the point of don't care you lose your audience and Sheen thinks he's above that. What a self-centered, spoiled brat who is very wrong!

But then I'm sure she paid them all for their talent and originality.
At least Sarah Palin has a working brain, takes care of herself and an interest in the core values of our country. Last time I saw Roseann she was gargelling out the National Anthem at a Baseball game, spitting and scratching her crotch.
Now there was a contribution, not to mention, a memory that just won't go away!

Dec 6th 2010 11:59PM KG used to be very funny. Then, as her humor lost its edge, where she used to fire on groups that were easy to target for a laugh, she changed to hatefully targeting individuals.
It's mean spirited and is accelerating downhill with continuing loss of humor.
Too bad, she appeared to be very talented as a younger performer. Guess it will be back to the bathhouses for her!

Sep 27th 2010 3:23PM This article is a poor example of a "pot stirrer." Simple premis of book banning? You never really say be whom. Must we infer the local library? Some big bad big brother? And you prod your readers to wonder "Where have all our freedoms gone?"
Most public libraries prefer to not ban any books. Check it out with the ALA.
Finally-I'll not surrender my freedom to read "whatever" to any board of "protectors." Authors sell books direct, same for publishers or the local bookstore. There is always a legitimate route to your book, magazine, etc.
If you truly believe "they" have taken away your freedom then "they" have!

How many states are there in this country where the Governor is #2 citizen? Past elections have brought about those who tried to draft him to run but why would he choose to step down a peg or two?
The Happy Valley that is home to State College, PA and the home of the University is a unique place in this country and with the King on his throne it shall remain so. May he reign as long as he wants.
