Mar 26th 2009 3:18PM In our day (forty years ago, in the 1960s) it wasn't allowable for boys and girls to share the same bedspace. They were kept separate, in separate rooms, with adult supervision. But those were different times than these. It wasn't just the family who raised your children, but whole neighborhoods. Everybody - your neighbors, friends, shopkeepers - had a hand in keeping us good and on the road to becoming responsible kids with sound, moral fiber.

So I understand and empathize with those pet owners who had to turn over their pet owners to shelters due to economic hardtimes that we currently all face as tax-paying adults.
