Despite Technical Problems, 'Spider-Man' Mega-Musical Rocks Broadway {PopEater}

Nov 30th 2010 8:51AM OK, U2 was a big band in the 80's, so why dig them up to do this show? Sorry Bobo and EDGE fans, but this band had their day. People, please stop living in the past and trying to dredge up old azz acts that don't know when to go out on top and end up embarrasing themselves...not just U2, but SOOOO many more. The only "old" act I still enjoy is Aerosmith, who put on the best effin live show of ANY band on the planet. U2...soryy, You were done LONG ago!!

The Stinking Truth: Growing Ranks of Working Moms Are Skipping the Daily Shower {ParentDish}

Nov 12th 2010 10:27AM We used to call it a P.T.A. bath (think female body parts). or a "bowl" bath. As long as you hit the peri area, pits, and if needed, feet, I think especially in the winter it is sufficient. Hair is another matter. True, my hair is less frizy if I give it a day break from shampoo, but even though it seems to look great in the morning of the "day off", I can usually smell a little weird oily smell toward mid afternoon that is dirty smelling. and then my hair starts to look greasy. For me I can get about 36 hours tops out of one shampoo. It is good to give hair a break though if you dont have to be presentable for several days.

Cheerleader Suspended for Facebook Photo {Lemondrop}

Oct 25th 2010 8:28PM My daughter cheered on a pretty competitive squad for 5 years. I have never encountered a more crazy bunch of moms than these particular cheer moms. they would do ANYTHING to make another girl on the squad look worse than their daughter. One would come to practice and tape it so they had "proof" that the girl who was "featured" in front was seen "messing up" and not worthy of her spot. One mom was even accused of making faces at another cheerleader during tryouts in an attempt to distract her so she would mess up and maybe not make the squad! It was ridiculous behavior by grown women, and mind you this was girls between 2nd and 6th grade I'm talking about. This cheer thing is a crazy world and I have to say I was so relieved when my daughter chose not to try out in 7th grade. I was glad to be away from these nuts!!

Cheerleader Suspended for Facebook Photo {Lemondrop}

Oct 25th 2010 7:47PM I am older than dirt but just recently got on facebook because my kids and some friends talked me into it. Correct me if I am wrong, but some one else can post a picture and it gets on your wall. Such as my daughter said, "mom, I posted a picture of you on facebook", and when I looked, it was on my wall, and not very flattering, I might add. Something tells me I was right for stayng away from facebook as long as I did. It was the thing I feared, not having control of something someone else posted until it is too late. I am not sure the story says she posted it herself. Mean spirited girls or even more likely their vicariously living mothers sabatoged this girl. Crazy cheer moms!!!....

Dane Cook Slams 'Weirdo' Ian Benardo, 'Idol' Crasher {PopEater}

May 28th 2010 12:00PM Dane Cook is so full of himself and why?? He acts like he is some great looking stud, so over confident for no reason. His stupid skit for Simon was hard to watch it was so lame. Simon looked bored and embarrased. This guy needs a reality check.

Kid Gets Detention for Repeating Joke From 'The Office' {AOL TV}

Feb 26th 2010 9:37AM My daughter recently got a detention for telling a classmate that April 20th is National Pot Day. Whatever happened to the psychology of teachers ignoring silly comments and not letting these kids get the rise out of them that they obviously are going for? Teachers: ignore most of this harmless shock value stuff and these kids will knock it off because it won't be worth it.

Kelly Clarkson to Taylor Swift's Label: 'Idol' Hits High Notes ... And Right Notes {PopEater}

Feb 5th 2010 9:21PM Fact is Taylor Swift sells a lot of records, so somebody must think she is doing something right. Is she perfect, no. Who is. She gets up there with a mic and a guitar and sings. IMO and everybody has one, she is doing it without a lot of gimmick and fanfare. As much as I love Beyonce, Pink, and Fergie, their performances were more along the lines of too much gimmick. Pink is an excellent vocalist and I really did enjoy her Circ de sole performance, her killer bod and all the water...but really isn't this about singing? Same with Beyonce, I love her...she's a great talent, but again, all the head banging and hair swirling and strutting? And BEP performance was fabulous, but I find myself going what a "performance"! instead of really listening to the song. With Taylor, it is just her voice there on display, and even if it isn't perfect, at least I don't feel like she needs to rely on all the stage performance to amplify her talent. Pink, Beyonce and Fergie don't need it either, they have great voices. Geez Taylor, I hope you hold your head up and realize the faster you rise, there is always some jealous public to try to make you fall. Sad reality Taylor...keep your chin up! :)

Worst 'American Idol' Season 9 Auditions {AOL TV: American Idol}

Jan 13th 2010 1:33PM Honestly, do most of you really think this Fenton character was real? Nobody waits around all day and then blows their chance in front of the judges popping off like that. Simon's and Kara's reactions were both so phony it was a real joke. I don't know how any of them kept a straight face...I guess anyone will sell their soul for money. AL should be ashamed they try to pull this crap on loyal viewers. Lost me and hopefully millions.

Worst 'American Idol' Season 9 Auditions {AOL TV: American Idol}

Jan 13th 2010 1:21PM Hopefully the American public will finally wake up to the staged farce that is American Idol. From the cross section of contstants they pick in an effort to gain more viewership, to the semi-pro talent they dig up and parade as amateurs, this season will be an indication of how gulliable we want to be. Actually the main reason that people are still watching it is because it is on in the dead of winter, after the holidays when most people don't have anything better to do. Put this on in the spring or summer and it would have gone belly up years ago!

Worst 'American Idol' Season 9 Auditions {AOL TV: American Idol}

Jan 13th 2010 12:27PM Simon has become such a bore. How many "rude" and "shocking" things can he say and still remain fresh and unique? He's done, and people please don't feed into his big head by saying the show will tank without him. The show is already a farce and last night's acting performance by "Fenlon" or whatever, has sealed the deal for me. Aside from this ridiculous attempt at ratings, the show has become a quest for Simon's wealth and not a showcase of raw talent. How many fixed outcomes and "amatuers" that already have had recording contracts can they expect us to embrace? This show is phony and Simon needs to go home before stuffing another pocket liner down our throats with his shameless attempt at the American dollar. Next!
